Mumbai: The city spent a cool weekend with Sunday recording a lower temperature than on Saturday. The weather bureau has predicted that the mercury is likely to drop by around two degrees in the next couple of days.

V K Rajeev, director of weather forecast,Indian Meteorological Department, said owing to a renewed spell of western disturbances, the temperature has started dipping once more.Last week, the disturbances were absent, but they have started again. This will ensure that the temperature will decrease by one or two degrees.Currently, the temperature is normal, he said.
Though the minimum temperature took a dip, there was hardly any change in the maximum temperature that hovered around 30 degrees C.TNN
